Ember Hollow Emporium ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit emberhollowemporium.com or make a purchase, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number (if provided), order details, and any photos or notes you send for custom orders such as pet portraits.
- Payment information: payments are processed securely by Squarespace Payments. We never see or store your full card number.
- Information collected automatically: your browser type, device, IP address, and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar tools used by our website platform, Squarespace, and analytics services.
How we use your information
- To process, make, and ship your orders, including preorders and custom work
- To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and replies to your messages
- To send our newsletter and shop updates, only if you sign up (you can unsubscribe anytime)
- To improve our website and prevent fraud
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations
How we share your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the shop, such as our payment processor, website platform, email service (Squarespace Email Campaigns), and shipping carriers. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Custom order photos
Photos you send for custom pieces are used only to create your order. We will not post your custom piece or your photos publicly without your permission.
Cookies
Our site uses cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the site. You can turn off cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site may not work properly.
Do Not Track
Our site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
How long we keep your information
We keep order information as long as we need it for your order and for tax and accounting records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, unless we are required to keep it by law.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from emails using the link at the bottom of any email. You can also contact us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, and we will honor them.
Children's privacy
Our shop is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Shipping & Preorder Policy
Effective date: October 15, 2026
Everything at Ember Hollow Emporium is made by hand, so some pieces take a little time to reach you. Here's what to expect.
Processing times
- Ready-to-ship items (prints, stickers): ship within 5-7 business days.
- Made-to-order items (totes): ship within 2-4 weeks of your order.
- Custom pet portraits and custom stickers: we'll send you a proof within 5-7 business days of receiving your photos. Your order ships within 10 business days after you approve it.
Preorders
- Every preorder listing shows an estimated ship date. Your card is charged when you place your preorder.
- If your order will ship later than the date shown, we'll email you before that date with a new estimated ship date.
- When we email you about a delay, you can choose to cancel for a full refund or keep your order and wait. If we can't give you a new date, or the delay is more than 30 days, we'll cancel and refund your order unless you tell us you'd like to wait.
- Refunds for canceled preorders are issued within 7-10 business days to your original payment method.
- If you order a preorder item and an in-stock item together, we'll ship the in-stock items first.
Shipping
- We ship within the United States via USPS for most orders. We do not ship internationally at this time.
- Shipping rates are calculated at checkout. Orders over $75 ship free.
- You'll get a tracking number by email when your order ships.
Lost, stolen, or damaged packages
- Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We're not responsible for orders sent to an incorrect address you entered.
- If your package arrives damaged, email us a photo within 7 days of delivery, and we'll make it right.
- If tracking shows your package as delivered but you can't find it, please check with neighbors and your local post office first, then reach out to us. We'll help you file a claim with the carrier.
Holiday orders
We'll post holiday ordering deadlines on our site and social media each season. Orders placed after the deadline may not arrive before the holiday.
Returns, Refunds & Custom Orders

Because each piece is handmade in small batches, all sales are final, except in the cases below.
Damaged or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, or you received the wrong item, email us at theemberhollowpost@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We'll send a replacement or a full refund, whichever you prefer.
Custom orders (portraits, custom stickers, and other personalized pieces)
- Custom pieces are made just for you, so they can't be returned or refunded once we start working on them.
- You can cancel for a full refund before we print your order.
- Each custom order includes 2 rounds of small revisions at the proof stage. Additional changes may have an extra fee.
- Please send clear, well-lit photos. We can't refund a custom piece because the photo was unclear, but we'll always let you know if a photo won't work before we begin.
- If a proof is not approved within 5 business days of receiving, we will assume it is approved and proceed to print.
Preorders
You can cancel a preorder for a full refund anytime before it ships. See our Shipping & Preorder Policy for what happens if your order is delayed.
Handmade variations
Small differences in fabric pattern placement, color, and stitching are part of what makes handmade pieces one of a kind. These aren't considered defects. Colors may also look slightly different on your screen than in person.
How refunds work
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 7 business days. Shipping costs are not refunded unless otherwise stated. If a product is returned in damaged form that cannot be resold, refunds may be partially or fully retained by the business to cover losses.

Orders and pricing
All prices are in US dollars. Applicable sales tax is added at checkout. We may refuse or cancel any order, including orders affected by a pricing error. If we cancel your order, you'll get a full refund.
Product descriptions
We do our best to describe and photograph each item accurately. Because everything is handmade, your piece may differ slightly from the photos.
Our artwork
All artwork, designs, photos, and written content on this site belong to Ember Hollow Emporium and are protected by copyright. Buying a print, sticker, or custom piece gives you the right to enjoy it personally. It does not give you the right to copy, resell, or reproduce the design for commercial use.
Custom orders
When you send photos for a custom piece, you confirm you have the right to use them. We may share the finished piece in our portfolio and on social media unless you ask us not to when you order.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Ember Hollow Emporium is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of this site or our products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page applies to any order placed while it is posted.
