Ember Hollow Emporium was born in one of my hardest seasons. In a single year, I lost my dream work as a photographer, was diagnosed with multiple chronic illnesses, and escaped an abusive relationship.

When I brought my heart back to the Lord these many months later, He made one thing clear: I had lost my light and was blindly dragging myself through life with no clue who I was. Something had to change. So I picked my paintbrush back up. I sat down at my sewing machine again. I started making things just because they made me happy, and something in me came alive.

Every print, sticker, portrait, and tote you find here is made by my own two hands with the hope that it brings a little light into your everyday. Maybe it’s a print that makes you smile after a hard day. Maybe it’s a tote that carries you through the mundane errands. Maybe it’s simply a reminder that beautiful things STILL exist in the ordinary.

So let this be your sign, dear friend. BELIEVE again. BE SILLY again. Pick up that thing you used to love. I won’t pretend it’s always easy, but I can promise you this: it does get better, and you needn’t walk it alone.
